KIYRAY is committed to maintaining a safer real-estate marketplace and reducing fraudulent, deceptive, abusive, and unsafe activity.
This policy applies to all KIYRAY users, including property owners, buyers, tenants, landlords, agents, brokers, developers, advertisers, and businesses.
1. KIYRAY’s Role
KIYRAY provides an online marketplace and technology platform.
KIYRAY does not guarantee the identity, ownership, financial capacity, licensing, intentions, or conduct of another user.
Users must conduct appropriate due diligence before entering a transaction.
2. Common Fraud Warning Signs
Users should be cautious when someone:
- Demands immediate payment;
- Offers a property substantially below apparent market conditions;
- Refuses reasonable property inspection;
- Refuses to provide appropriate documentation;
- Claims to be overseas and unable to meet;
- Requests payment through unusual methods;
- Requests cryptocurrency for a transaction without appropriate verification;
- Requests passwords or verification codes;
- Uses pressure or threats;
- Provides inconsistent information;
- Refuses to communicate through normal channels;
- Claims KIYRAY has guaranteed a transaction;
- Requests payment before reasonable verification.
3. Never Share Security Credentials
KIYRAY users should never give another person:
- Passwords;
- One-time authentication codes;
- Banking passwords;
- Payment-card security codes;
- Account recovery codes.
KIYRAY will not ask users to provide passwords through an unsolicited message.
4. Property Verification
Before paying money or signing a property agreement, users should independently verify:
- Identity;
- Ownership;
- Property documents;
- Registration information;
- Authorization;
- Property location;
- Property condition;
- Applicable approvals;
- Applicable taxes or fees.
Where appropriate, users should consult qualified professionals and relevant authorities.
5. Payments
Users should be particularly cautious about requests to pay:
- Deposits;
- “Reservation” fees;
- Processing fees;
- Legal fees;
- Taxes;
- Commissions;
- Transfer fees;
to individuals whose identity and authority have not been independently verified.
6. In-Person Meetings
When meeting an unfamiliar advertiser:
- Meet in a safe location;
- Consider bringing another person;
- Inform someone you trust about the meeting;
- Avoid carrying unnecessary cash;
- Do not surrender original identity documents;
- Do not sign documents you do not understand.
For property viewings, use reasonable safety precautions.
7. Reporting Fraud
Users should report suspected fraud to KIYRAY as soon as possible.
A report should include, where available:
- Listing URL or ID;
- Username;
- Telephone number;
- Email;
- Screenshots;
- Messages;
- Payment information;
- Description of the suspected activity.
8. Emergency Situations
KIYRAY is not an emergency service.
If you face an immediate threat to your physical safety, contact the appropriate emergency services or law-enforcement authority.
9. KIYRAY Investigation
KIYRAY may investigate reports using information available to it.
KIYRAY may:
- Contact the reported user;
- Request documents;
- Hide a listing;
- Restrict an account;
- Suspend an account;
- Remove content;
- Preserve relevant information;
- Cooperate with lawful requests from authorities.
10. Fraud Prevention Technology
KIYRAY may use automated and manual systems to detect:
- Duplicate listings;
- Suspicious accounts;
- Unusual activity;
- Stolen content;
- Potential impersonation;
- Suspicious payment activity;
- Coordinated abuse;
- Other indicators of fraud.
Automated systems may produce false positives and may be supplemented by human review.
11. Identity Verification
KIYRAY may offer identity or professional verification.
Verification does not mean KIYRAY guarantees that the person will perform a transaction honestly or that a property is legally suitable for purchase or rental.
12. Impersonation
Users may not impersonate:
- Another individual;
- A property owner;
- A real-estate agent;
- A broker;
- A developer;
- A government official;
- KIYRAY;
- Another company or organization.
13. Fake Documents
Users may not upload or use fraudulent, altered, forged, or misleading documents.
KIYRAY may remove accounts or listings associated with suspected document fraud.
14. Account Takeover
If you believe someone has gained unauthorized access to your account:
- Change your password immediately;
- Secure your associated email account;
- Contact KIYRAY;
- Report suspicious activity;
- Review recent account activity.
15. Financial Fraud
KIYRAY may restrict accounts suspected of using the Platform for:
- Fraud;
- Money laundering;
- Theft;
- Financial scams;
- Fake investments;
- Unauthorized payment collection.
KIYRAY may cooperate with appropriate authorities where legally required or permitted.
16. Harassment and Abuse
Users may not use KIYRAY to:
- Threaten;
- Stalk;
- Harass;
- Intimidate;
- Extort;
- Blackmail;
- Abuse another person.
17. Spam
Users must not send excessive unsolicited communications or use KIYRAY to conduct unauthorized bulk marketing.
18. Privacy and Personal Information
Users must respect the privacy of other users.
Do not collect, publish, sell, or distribute another person’s personal information without an appropriate legal basis or authorization.
19. False Reports
Users must not knowingly submit false fraud reports to harm another user.
KIYRAY may take action against users who abuse the reporting system.
20. Law Enforcement
Where appropriate and legally permitted or required, KIYRAY may cooperate with law-enforcement agencies, courts, regulators, and other competent authorities.
21. No Guarantee
Although KIYRAY may implement safety and fraud-prevention measures, no online marketplace can eliminate all fraud or unsafe conduct.
Users remain responsible for exercising reasonable caution and conducting appropriate due diligence.
